DUBAI (Kashmir English): The Green shirts are ready to take on Afghanistan in the tri-nation T20I series starting today.

The first match of the tri-nation series will be played between Pakistan and Afghanistan in Sharjah at 7 pm local time.

The Tri-Nation Series trophy was unveiled, in which the three captains participated. Pakistan team captain Salman Ali Agha, Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan, and UAE captain Mohammad Wasim had a photo shoot with the trophy.

Green Shirts captain Salman Agha said while holding a press conference that the preparation is good.

The opinions of former players about the current Pakistani team do not matter to him and the team.

Afghan captain Rashid Khan said that they have not had the opportunity to play T20 tournaments for many months, but they will perform well.

In the tri-nation series, the three teams will play 2 matches each against each other, and the final of the series will be played on September 7.

Since arriving in the UAE on August 20, Pakistan has undergone training sessions and practice matches in Dubai in preparation for the tri-series and the upcoming Asia Cup, which will be hosted in Abu Dhabi and Dubai from September 9 to 28.
