KARACHI (Kashmir English): A local holiday has been declared in the Sindh district tomorrow, under which all government and semi-government offices will remain closed.
According to the details, the Khairpur district administration has declared a local holiday across the district on March 4, 2026, on the occasion of the annual Urs of Sufi saint Hazrat Sachal Sarmast.
The notification issued said that all government and semi-government offices will remain closed on that day.
The 205th Urs celebrations of Hazrat Sachal Sarmast will officially begin from 14th Ramadan. On this occasion, a large number of devotees visit the shrine.
On the other hand, the Sindh government has announced a two-day holiday for Hindu employees of the province in connection with the Holi festival.
