KANDY (Kashmir English): Pakistan cricket team opener Sahibzada Farhan has created new history in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Farhan became the highest run-scorer in an edition of the T20 World Cup, he achieved this honor in a crucial match against Sri Lanka.

Sahibzada Farhan broke Indian star batsman Virat Kohli’s record of 319 runs set in the 2014 T20 World Cup. Sahibzada has crossed the mark of 319 runs in the T20 World Cup 2026.

Moreover, he also became the first player in the world to score 2 centuries in the T20 World Cup. In the Super Eight stage, Pakistani player Sahibzada completed a century in 59 balls in the match against Sri Lanka, which included 9 fours and 5 sixes.

Earlier, Sahibzada Farhan also scored a century in the match against Namibia.
