QUETTA (Kashmir English): More than 71 terrorists have been killed in various operations across Balochistan over the past 96 hours, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The Pakistan Army’s media wing reported that 23 terrorists were killed in the last 72 hours, while 11 terrorists were eliminated during an intelligence-based operation in Nushki on September 25.
According to the ISPR, 33 Indian-backed terrorists have been killed so far in ‘Operation Shaban’; security forces have cleared numerous terrorist hideouts and recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives from their possession.
Additionally, security forces conducted an operation in Mand, killing six terrorists associated with ‘Fitna-ul-Hind’ and clearing a vast area of terrorist presence, while a large cache of weapons was recovered from terrorist hideouts during the Nushki operation.
The ISPR stated that operations in the Shaban area and elsewhere have dealt a major blow to Indian-backed Afghan proxies.
According to the ISPR, the war against terrorism will continue with full resolve under the vision of ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ (Resolve for Stability); security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to eradicating terrorism from the country.
Four FAH militants killed, 17 detained after overnight operation
Security forces repelled an attack on Khalil Shaheed Post during the night of September 25-26 and subsequently killed four militants and detained 17 suspects during a follow-up operation, according to security sources.
The sources said a militant group led by Commander Asad Bolani, accompanied by Commander Rafique, launched a multi-directional attack and attempted to raid the Khalil Shaheed Post.
The attack was repulsed, causing casualties among the militants. The engagement continued for around three hours before the attackers withdrew.
