RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Security forces have killed 33 Indian-sponsored terrorists in Operation Shaban in Balochistan since September 21, the military’s media wing said on Friday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a comprehensive counter terrorism operation against Indian backed Fitna Al Khawarij & Fitna Al Hindustan is underway across the province.
The ISPR said that on September 24, security forces busted additional terrorist hideouts, eliminating 5 Khwarij, bringing the casualties to a total of 22.
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the Khwarij locations, it stated.
“The clearance operation will continue till complete neutralization of the threat from the area.”
In another engagement, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in Nushki district on September 25.
During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged terrorists’ hideout and, after an intense fire exchange, 11 terrorists were sent to hell.
“Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.”
