ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Oman has announced fully funded undergraduate scholarships for international students, including Pakistani nationals, under the Omani Scholarship Program 2025–26.
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan on Wednesday invited applications for scholarships for Pakistani students to study in Oman.
These scholarships offer Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering, Humanities, IT, and Sciences (excluding Medicine) at selected private universities across Oman.
The initiative aims to strengthen educational and cultural ties between Pakistan and Oman while providing high-achieving students with access to world-class academic resources.

- Monthly Stipend:
- OMR 200 (if housing is not provided)
- OMR 140 (if free housing is provided)
- One round-trip air ticket per academic year
- Choice of multiple universities and majors
- Option to choose up to 3 universities and 2 academic majors
Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria released by HEC stated that the student must be a Pakistani national and must be 23 years or younger at the time of application.
The applicant should have completed intermediate or equivalent (Grade 12) within the last 3 years, must be medically fit, and must obtain an Equivalency Certificate from the Ministry of Education, Oman.
HEC encourages eligible students to apply early to take advantage of this prestigious scholarship opportunity, which not only covers academic expenses but also provides living support and travel allowances.
