ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): In a major relief to consumers, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Tuesday announced a significant reduction in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices for July.
According to a notification, the price of LPG has been reduced by Rs 67.33 per kg to Rs 241.43 per kg.
The notification further added that the price of an 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder has been cut by Rs794.05, fixing the new price at Rs2,848.91.
Moreover, the price of a commercial cylinder has also been reduced by Rs 3,057, fixing the new price at Rs 10,960, the notification added,
It further stated that the revised prices will come into effect from midnight, July 1, and will remain applicable throughout the month of July.
