Check new petrol, diesel prices for October 2

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Thursday hiked the petrol price and reduced the diesel price for October 2.

According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was increased by Rs 3.26 per liter, and the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was lowered by Rs 1.01 per liter.

“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for October 2, 2026,” the notification stated.

With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 390.66 per liter and diesel at Rs 399.34 per liter.

On September 30, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) reduced the petrol price to Rs 387.40 per liter and the diesel price to Rs 400.35 per liter.

The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
