ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): A key meeting between President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is currently underway at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.
The meeting was convened to discuss the political and security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and constitutional options for emergency or governor’s rule in the province.
According to sources, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Rana Sanaullah, and Farooq H. Naik are also present at the meeting.
Other attendees include PPP’s Senator Sherry Rehman, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon, and Attorney General Mansoor Usman.
