MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Former Prime Minister (PM) Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan attended the Annual Mughal Family Convention, where he took oath from the newly elected Mughalia Organisation body, expressed solidarity with Kashmiris, and highlighted their struggle for Pakistan, alongside prominent political and community figures.
Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, former PM Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) participated in the Annual Mughal Family Convention that the All-Pakistan Mughalia Organisation orchestrated. Flowers greeted him when he came to the convention center which received a big welcoming party.
During the event, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas led the oath-taking process for the newly formed Mughalia Organisation leadership. He stated to the audience that Azad Jammu and Kashmir exists as an essential part of Pakistan for its 240 million people whose country’s military maintains continuous support of the Kashmiri people. He declared that Kashmiris strive to create a whole Pakistan because Pakistan represents their last destination.
The speaker acknowledged the tremendous care Kashmiris experience throughout Pakistan which comes from people living in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. Kashmiri mothers alongside sisters and elder citizens and their children carry the green crescent flag to confront 900,000 Indian troops in Occupied Kashmir with splendid courage. The same flag that covers martyrs’ remains signifies Kashmiris’ pursuit of Pakistan’s completion according to his observation.
Kashmir Solidarity Day, observed each year on February 5, unites people from different professional and political standings to show the international community that Kashmiris receive steadfast support from Pakistan’s military and populace according to Sardar Tanveer Ilyas.
Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan Mughal joined the distinguished group that included the President of the All-Pakistan Mughal Organization Haji Abdul Rauf Mughal and former GDA Chairman Barrister Ali Ashraf Mughal and Dr Muhammad Jamil Mughal. Additionally, the gathering brought together former Chamber of Commerce president Saeed Ahmed Taj and Nadeem Sajid Mughal from Jhelum along with Dr Sarfraz Ahmed Mughal as Chairman of Al-Shafa Group of Hospitals and Chairman Haji Maqsood Ahmad Mughal. The former Prime Minister visited the occasion together with his son Sardar Omar Tanveer Khan.
