KOHAT (Kashmir English): Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Thursday successfully foiled a major terror plot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kohat district, seizing a large quantity of weapons and ammunition, security sources said.
In a joint operation, security forces, Police, and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) dismantled a major terror cell in Kohat, seizing IEDs, grenades, and military gear in a farmhouse raid.
The forces have averted a major disaster in Kohat with effective action.
The recovered weapons, including two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), explosive material, and IED components, primacord, detonators, two hand grenades, a sniper rifle, 10 magazines, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
Other seized items include medical kits, communication equipment, SIM cards, three laptops, three mobile phones, and various documents.
