PESHAWAR (Kashmir English): Orders have been issued to transfer and reassign 18 senior officers in a major administrative reshuffle within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police.
Under this significant move, several key districts and regions have received new heads.
According to the issued notification, Additional IG Dr. Fasih-ud-Din, DIG Legal Humayun Masood Sindhu, and RPO Kohat Irfan Tariq have been directed to report to the ‘Establishment Division, Islamabad’ immediately.
Additionally, AIG Logistics Resham Jahangir and former DPO Haripur Shafiullah have been ordered to report to the ‘CPO Peshawar’.
According to the order issued by the Police Department, Nasir Mehmood Satti has been appointed as Commandant ‘FRP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’, Syed Fida Hassan Shah as DIG Operations Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jahanzeb Nazir Khan as RPO Hazara Region, and Shakir Hussain Dawar as RPO Kohat Region.
Meanwhile, Zahid Nawaz has been assigned responsibilities as RPO Malakand Region, and Muhammad Azhar as AIG Operations at the CPO.
Under these orders, Muhammad Waqas Khan has been appointed as DPO Mansehra, Muhammad Jameel Akhtar as DPO Buner, Niaz Muhammad as DPO Karak, Mushtaq Ahmed as SP ‘Elite Force Peshawar Region’, Muhammad Khalid as DPO Lower Chitral, and Taimur Khan as DPO Haripur. These new appointments and transfers within the police department are part of efforts to further improve the law and order situation across the province and strengthen administrative affairs.
KP government sacks Peshawar Commissioner, changes Commissioners in six divisions
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has reshuffled commissioners in all six divisions of the province, placing four outgoing commissioners on the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) list and appointing new officers to key administrative positions.
According to the reshuffle details, Special Secretary Agriculture Pervaiz has been appointed Commissioner Kohat, while Commissioner Bannu Khalid Mehmood has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Peshawar.
Officer awaiting posting Muntazir Ahmed Ali Shah has been appointed Commissioner Mardan. Director of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Naeem Ullah has been posted as Commissioner Bannu.
Special Secretary Home Department Shakir Ullah has been appointed Commissioner Hazara, while Joint Secretary Iqbal Hussain has been appointed Commissioner Malakand.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Peshawar Riaz Khan and Commissioner Mardan Habib Ullah have been made OSDs. Commissioner Hazara Shah Ullah has also been directed to report to the Human Resource Management Office.
Commissioner Malakand Masood Ahmed has been directed to report to the Human Resource Management Office.
