ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has congratulated Spain on winning the FIFA World Cup 2026 and expressed support for Palestine in a message shared on social media.
In a post on X, the defence minister celebrated Spain’s triumph and wrote: “Millions of hands were raised in prayer all over the world for Spain’s victory. Viva España, Viva Palestine.”
His message came after Spain defeated Argentina in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final to lift the prestigious trophy and become world champions.
