MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has approved the key appointments to the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Service Tribunal.
According to the notification issued by the Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs, and Human Rights Department, Muhammad Sajjad has been appointed as Chairman of the AJK Service Tribunal for a three-year term.
Muhammad Sajjad is currently serving as District & Sessions Judge and Secretary of the Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs, and Human Rights Department.
“This Notification shall take effect from the date of joining of the Chairman,” the notification added.
Moreover, the government has also appointed Advocate Shafiq-Ulla as a member of the Service Tribunal for a period of three years. “This Notification shall take effect from the date of joining of the Member,” it stated.
The appointments have been made under Section 3(4)(a) and Section 3 (4) (b) of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Service Tribunals Act, 1975.
