RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday released a special song titled Arz-e-Kashmir (Land of Kashmir) to mark Kashmir Black Day on October 27.

Kashmir Black Day is observed to commemorate the arrival of Indian troops in Srinagar on October 27, 1947.

The song highlights the ongoing struggle and sacrifices of the Kashmiri people and human rights violations by Indian forces in Indian-Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The special song portrays the resistance of Kashmiris against Indian oppression and conveys a message of solidarity to Kashmiri brothers and sisters, assuring them that the Pakistani nation will always stand by them through thick & thin.

It also shows atrocities against Kashmiri women, which have been documented by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and other international bodies, paying tribute to the resilience and sacrifices of Kashmiri women.

Minahil Mobeen Fatima Jarral sang the song, which was written by Abdullah Sajjad.

“Kashmir’s daughters still waiting for justice. Their tears tell stories through generations. May justice come before hope fades,” the song concludes with a message.

On October 27, Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and across the world will remind the world that India has militarily occupied their homeland illegally and against their will and aspirations since 1947.

The day will be marked by a complete shutdown and protest in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

It was on October 27, 1947, when Indian troops, in total violation of the spirit of the Partition Plan of the Subcontinent, invaded Jammu and Kashmir and illegally occupied it against the aspirations and wishes of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
