RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for four new academic programs at the University of Poonch Rawalakot.
The new academic programs include MS Data Science, MS Software Engineering, MPhil Education, and PhD Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
“Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zakaria Zakar congratulated Director QEC Prof. Dr. Shahid Iqbal Awan, Deputy Director QEC Faisal Riaz, and the entire QEC team for their hard work in securing the approvals,” the university said in a statement.
Prof. Dr. Shahid Iqbal Awan highlighted that these programs will enhance the university’s academic profile and meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in key fields.
He also acknowledged the support of Registrar, Dean Basic & Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, for his support in this regard.
“These new programs are poised to elevate the university’s offerings and contribute to research and development in their respective fields,” the university said.
