ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has approved the promotion of four administrative service officers to the Deputy Commissioner and equivalent cadre (BS-18).
A formal notification has been issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD).
The promotions were notified after approval by the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on the recommendation of Selection Board No. 1.
According to the notification, the officers promoted on an officiating basis are Abdul Qadir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch; Naeem Akhtar Chaudhry, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mirpur; Waleed Anwar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Abbaspur; and Syed Ghulam Mohiuddin Gilani, APSO at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
“The promotions have been approved under Rule 13 of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Civil Servants (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1977,” it stated.
