WAZIRISTAN (Kashmir English): Security forces killed seven terrorists affiliated with Fitna-ul-Khawarij during an intelligence-based operation in Waziristan.
According to security sources, a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the terrorists killed during the operation.
Security sources stated that operations against Fitna-ul-Khawarij were carried out in various areas of North Waziristan, where the terrorists were eliminated through effective action. Several hideouts belonging to *Fitna-ul-Khawarij* were also destroyed during the operation.
According to sources, security forces are continuing operations against *Fitna-ul-Khawarij* in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ vision, aiming to eliminate the threat of terrorism and improve the law-and-order situation.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and other political leaders paid tribute to the security forces following the killing of the seven terrorists in North Waziristan.
President Asif Ali Zardari stated that the conspiracies hatched by the terrorists’ foreign patrons and their local facilitators would be thwarted at all costs.
He affirmed that the entire nation stands with its security forces in the war against terrorism.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also commended the security forces’ action, stating that the nation stands united with its brave security forces to eradicate terrorism. He stated that the Kharijites would find no place to hide.
Officials and political leaders commended the sacrifices and efforts of security forces in the ongoing operations against terrorism and reaffirmed their resolve to continue measures against terrorism to ensure peace and stability in the country.
