MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Iftikhar Gilani has stated that promoting investment and fostering industrial development in Azad Kashmir are among the government’s top priorities.
Measures will be taken to ensure the protection of investors and the provision of all possible facilities to them.
Addressing a meeting of the Department of Industries and Mineral Resources, the Prime Minister directed that effective steps be taken to resolve the difficulties faced by investors and that a conducive environment be created to promote business activities.
Prime Minister Iftikhar Gilani announced that a “One-Window Operation” would soon be launched to facilitate investors, aiming to streamline investment-related matters and provide necessary services at a single location.
He noted that industrial development would boost economic activity in the state and generate new employment opportunities.
The government aims to create a favorable climate for investment in Azad Kashmir to advance the industrial sector and expand local business opportunities.
The Prime Minister directed the Department of Industries and Mineral Resources to focus specifically on harnessing the potential of the region’s mineral resources.
He emphasized the need for effective planning and practical measures to develop this sector, stating that promoting investment, industrial growth, and the efficient use of mineral resources could help strengthen the state’s economy.
In conclusion, he urged the relevant departments to intensify their efforts toward this goal so that development targets could be achieved.
