ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Former President Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan called on president Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry here on Tuesday.
On this occasion, both the leaders discussed issues of mutual interest and prevailing situation in the region.
The duo expressed satisfaction and gratitude over Pakistan’s victory on both military and diplomatic fronts.
They also praised the Pakistan army for delivering a befitting response to India’s naked aggression.
The Pak Army’s crushing response against India’s bullying and arrogance, they said, dashed Modi’s pride to the ground.
Trump’s statement on Kashmir welcomed
They also welcomed the US President Donald Trump’s recent statement on Kashmir terming it a positive development.
The duo reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to take the ongoing freedom struggle to its logical conclusion.
