LONDON (Kashmir English): England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Tuesday announced a 15-player squad for the Men U-19s four-match Youth ODI series against Pakistan, set to be played from September 9 to 16.
The board said that Ralphie Albert will captain the squad. The opening fixture of the series will be held on September 9 at Arundel Castle Cricket Club.
The squad further includes nine players from the Test squad that defeated Pakistan U-19 by 10 runs at Arundel Castle Cricket Club Ground on Saturday.
Those include Jack Auld, Thomas Edwards, Luke Hands, Isaac Mohammed, Joe Moores, Jack Nelson, Luke Symington, Charlie Taylor and Harry Wallace.
Joe Moores is also included for the opening match of the series before joining up with the England Lions for two T20Is against Sri Lanka later this week.
Moreover, Neil Killeen will be the Head Coach of Young Lions, while Sam Billings will also join the coaching team for the series.
The first ODI of the series will be played at Arundel Castle Cricket Club, Arundel, on September 9, followed by the second game at Woodbridge Road, Guildford, on September 12.
The third and fourt match will be played at Sir Paul Getty’s Ground, Wormsley, on September 14, and Sir Paul Getty’s Ground, Wormsley, on September 16, respectively.
