ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistani singer and actor Danyal Zafar, also known as Danny Zee, has announced a temporary break from professional commitments after reaching what he described as a “breaking point” following an exhausting work schedule.
In a statement shared on Instagram Stories on Sunday, the artist revealed that he had spent the past two years travelling almost constantly for television shoots, live performances, album recordings and other professional engagements.
“Managing 2 careers simultaneously is a tumultuous feat,” he said, acknowledging the toll the demanding routine had taken on him.
Danyal shared a photograph of an intravenous infusion bag alongside his message, explaining that he had been advised to prioritise his health. He announced that all his professional activities would remain on hold while he rests and recovers.
“I’ll be taking a little break to rest, recover and find my way back to full health,” he wrote, expressing love for his fans.
415 Days Without a Day Off
Earlier this month, Danyal had spoken about the physical strain caused by his hectic schedule. In an October 6 post, he revealed that he had gone 415 days without a day off and acknowledged the need to take a break.
The announcement follows a busy period in his career, during which he appeared as the lead actor in the television dramas Raqaas and Zanjeerain while continuing to work on his music.
The singer has also been promoting his upcoming studio album, STORMS & Serenity, which was scheduled for release on Saturday, October 31, according to the announcement.
His latest decision marks a pause in his acting and music commitments as he focuses on rest and recovery. No specific date has been announced for his return to professional activities.
