WASHINGTON (Kashmir English): The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has released a video of the attack on the Iranian ship TOUSKA.
According to CENTCOM, US Marines have seized the ship, which is now in US custody.
According to global marine data, the MV Tosca is a container ship registered under the Iranian flag. Seven hours ago, the Iranian ship was recorded at a very low speed of 1.2 knots.
Earlier, US President Trump had said on social media that the US had targeted and captured an Iranian ship TOUSKA that was violating the blockade. The US military had intercepted an Iranian ship that was trying to violate the US blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.
He said that the ship called ‘Touska’ tried to violate the blockade, which did not work out well for it. The ship is about 900 feet long and weighs as much as an aircraft carrier. A US Navy guided missile destroyer stopped the ship in the Gulf of Oman.
It also warned the ship to stop, but the Iranian crew refused to listen, after which the US Navy stopped it by drilling a hole in the ship’s engine room.
The US President said that the ship is now in the possession of US Marines and we are looking at what is on the ship.
