BIRMINGHAM (Kashmir English): The members of the proscribed Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) attacked a Kashmiri activist for raising pro-Pakistan slogans and holding the Pakistani flag outside the Pakistan Consulate in Birmingham.
The activist, named Faisal, said the incident happened when he raised slogans “Kashmir will become Pakistan” and others in favour of Pakistan and Field Marshal Asim Munir outside the consulate, where a few JAAC members had staged the sit-in.
The man said that he was recording a protest against the action committee along with his relatives and associates, including Inamul Haq, Liaquat Lone, and Yasir Malik, when the mob attacked him and snatched the Pakistani flag.
He said the intervention of British police helped protect him from miscreants.
In a video message, Faisal said that “the action committee goons couldn’t tolerate the slogans raised in favor of Pakistan by a patriotic Kashmiri.”
He called on the governments of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir to take action against the miscreants of JAAC in the UK.
The activist further said that the action committee is a group of terrorists who are spreading chaos against the state on the Indian agenda.
Faisal also expressed support for Pakistan, its institutions and the Pakistan Army, reiterating his stance in favour of Kashmir’s accession to Pakistan.
“Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan, and Kashmir will become Pakistan is our slogan, and we will take it to its final completion,” he concluded.
