MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC)’s propaganda has once again been exposed, as the authorities have denied any use of tear gas.
The propaganda post spread on social media through the banned group JAAC about the supposed large-scale public mobilization and security situation was refuted by the authorities.
As per a post made on X by a JAAC-associated X account, there was “intense shelling” around Gurdwara, where people could not come out of their houses, and people from other nearby areas were coming towards the city. The post added that no one got injured in the process.
But the authorities have rejected the claims made in the post and stated that the claims made were false and not true in any way.
The sources said that drone surveillance of the Rawalakot sit-in found only 15 to 20 people present at the sit-in.
The sources said that the crowd dispersed right after the security forces fired two shells of tear gas.
