ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The administration of the Islamabad district has issued an advisory to the citizens regarding the fuel shortage reported at different fuel pumps in the federal capital.
As per the information released by the administration, they are carefully assessing the situation and have assured the citizens that there is enough stock of petrol and diesel in the city.
The administration has informed that while there have been some problems for a few petrol pumps, it is mostly because of the stoppage of heavy traffic.
Fuel is being supplied at those petrol pumps where the supply has been stopped using tanker services. The administration has advised the citizenry not to believe in any rumors.
Fuel stock in each and every fuel pump is being monitored by the Assistant Commissioners within their own jurisdictions, while the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad is monitoring the entire process through a hi-tech digital dashboard.
