MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Election Commission on Sunday announced the results of five refugee constituencies after the polling for the second phase of the AJK Legislative Assembly election ended earlier today.
Chief Election Commissioner Justice (retd) Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, accompanied by Senior Member Election Commission Khawaja Muhammad Ahsan and Member Election Commission Syed Nazir-ul-Hassan Gilani, addressed the press conference on the latest results in Muzaffarabad.

According to the CEC, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidates won four of the five Kashmir Valley refugee seats for which results have been received, while the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) secured one seat.
In LA-41 Kashmir Valley-II, PML-N candidate Muhammad Amir Shah won with 1,804 votes, while independent candidate Saba Dewan came second, securing 1,523 votes.
In LA-42 Kashmir Valley-III, PML-N candidate Syed Shaukat Ali Shah secured victory with 1,524 votes, defeating PPP candidate Muhammad Asim Sharif, who received 466 votes.
In LA-43 Kashmir Valley-IV, PML-N candidate Muhammad Yasin Lone won after securing 1,276 votes. PPP candidate Javed Butt received 563 votes.
In LA-44 Kashmir Valley-V, PML-N candidate Muhammad Ahmed Raza Qadri secured 2,308 votes to defeat All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference candidate Mehran Nisa, who received 740 votes.
In LA-45 Kashmir Valley-VI, PPP candidate Abdul Majid Khan emerged victorious with 3,448 votes, defeating All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference candidate Khawaja Muhammad Dilawar, who secured 823 votes.
The Chief Election Commissioner said the completion of results in the remaining constituencies was still underway. “The remaining results will be announced as soon as the process is completed,” he added.
