KALAT (Balochistan) (Kashmir English): An ailing woman was shot dead while two other persons including her child were seriously injured when armed terrorists opened fire on a vehicle traveling from Zhob to Karachi near the Manguchar area of Kalat district, said security sources on Tuesday.
According to reports, the woman suffering from an illness on board the vehicle was killed in the incident, while 2 people, including a child, were seriously injured.

The sources said unknown armed individuals were conducting vehicle checks on the road near Manguchar Khaliqabad in Kalat district and the woman traveling from Zhob to Karachi for medical treatment became a target of the terrorists firing, while her child and another individual were seriously injured.
The law enforcement personnel immediately reached the scene and shifted the injured to hospital for medical treatment.
Security personnel are chasing the culprits as the areas has been cleared of any potential threat.
