MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Voting for government employees and duty staff for AJK Legislative Assembly elections concluded peacefully across multiple divisions of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, with the official count scheduled for election day.
The polling continued from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on 20 July. In Rawalakot Division sans Rawalakot and Sudhnoti districts, 4,278 votes cast across 4 Legislative Assemblies (LAs) in 2 districts.
In Muzaffarabad Division, 7,721 votes cast across 9 LAs in 3 districts.
In Mirpur Division, 12,041 votes cast across 13 LAs in 3 districts.
AJK elections
Following the conclusion of voting, all sealed ballot boxes and election materials were securely handed over to the Returning Officers (ROs).
Political parties actively participated in the process, setting up worker camps outside the designated polling stations.
