ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Afghan refugees residing here in Pakistan for 50 years will have to return home now.
“We will have to free our economy from the grip of Afghan refugees,” he added.
The Defence Minister said in a post on his X account that after the turn of events, Afghan refugees who have been here in Pakistan for over 50 years will have to go.
He said Pakistan will have to free economy from the grip of Afghan refugees.
The Defence Minister said in his statement that just as there are borders in the world, the Pak-Afghan border should also be like that so that no one can cross the border at will.
It should be noted that last night, Afghan Taliban launched unprovoked attacks on Pakistan, which were strongly responded to by the Pakistan Army.
More than 200 Afghan Taliban killed
In retaliatory actions, more than 200 Afghan Taliban and foreign elements were killed, and in the exchange of fire, 23 sons of the Pakistan Army were martyred and 29 were injured.
