MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) women wing Azad Kashmir held a convention on Monday.
Speakers at the event included Maryam Kashmiri President of the Women’s Wing; Jamila Khatoon Central Joint Secretary; Sobia Abbasi Vice President; Musarrat Raja President Muzaffarabad District; Shahida Abbasi; and Bushra Bukhari.
Addressing the participants, the speakers said that PML-N Azad Kashmir will win elections and form the next government.
Central leaders including Party President Shah Ghulam Qadir, former Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider, Senior Vice President Raja Mushtaq Minhas, and General Secretary Chaudhry Tariq Farooq and others were also present on the occasion.
“PML-N is moving forward”
They emphasized that just as PML-N is moving forward in Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, carrying forward the vision of the founder of Pakistan, PML-N will also form the government in Azad Kashmir and bring prosperity to the people.
The speakers condemned India’s attempts to stage a drama adding the truth has come to light.
They stated that Kashmiris are the vanguard of Pakistan’s armed forces, and women stand shoulder-to-shoulder with men in supporting the armed forces. They condemned India’s low tactics and said that Kashmiris’ determination will not be dampened.
The speakers emphasized that the people of occupied Kashmir have always condemned India’s occupation and will continue to do so as long as they breathe.
They called on the international community to play its role in improving the situation in Gaza, allowing innocent Palestinians to live in peace.
