MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Election Commission has clarified that the general elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) will be held on July 27 as scheduled, rejecting reports and speculation regarding any possible postponement of the polls.
In a statement, the Election Commission termed the rumours about a delay in the election process as baseless and unfounded, stressing that all preparations are continuing according to the announced electoral schedule.
