NEELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): Like the rest of the country, Pakistan Day was celebrated with national enthusiasm at various locations along the Line of Control (LoC) in Neelum Valley. The central event took place at the picturesque tourist destination of Keran, where government officials and military personnel gathered to mark the occasion with great fervour.
The memorial event served as a gathering place for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Law Minister Advocate Mian Abdul Waheed and Information Minister Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah alongside the commander representing the Pakistan Army. The dignitaries present at the event demonstrated the day’s significance by displaying the Kashmiri people’s absolute dedication to Pakistan.

Speaking on the occasion, officials emphasised the historic significance of 23rd March 1940, when the Pakistan Resolution laid the foundation for the creation of an independent Muslim state. They reiterated that the people of Azad Kashmir stand firmly with Pakistan and will continue their struggle for the complete realisation of their political destiny.
Everyone sealed their commitment to protect the sacrifices valiant martyrs made as they embraced the goals of Pakistan’s stability alongside its advancement.
