RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): The Rawalpindi district administration has once again closed a major bus terminal at Faizabad on Saturday for two days for the scheduled event in Islamabad related to Marka-e-Haq on Sunday.
The closure of inter-provincial transport has created severe difficulties for passengers as inter-city travel has also been affected. Passengers face more difficulties due to a lack of alternative transport and travel facilities.
Passengers said the repeated closure of the Faizabad bus stand, even during Islamabad talks, has added to their frustration, especially in the absence of alternative transport arrangements.
Authorities have tightened security across the federal capital and implemented a traffic diversion plan due to the ongoing events. The restrictions have also affected daily travel between Rawalpindi and Islamabad, further adding to commuter difficulties.
