LAHORE (Kashmir English): A woman, originally from Lahore, has been reunited with her family after 22 years through the ‘Mera Pyara’ project being run by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA), officials said.
According to an official spokesperson, Shagufta went missing from Lahore in 2004 at the age of 12 as she had been suffering from mental health challenges and later lived at a welfare institution in Karachi.
Her family searched for her for so many long time but to no avail. Her interview and childhood photo, however, helped her find her family.
