MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Anti-Pakistan elements including Indian journalist Aditya Raj Kaul have started spewing venom following the the ban on the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee (JACC) on Indian media and social platrforms.
All these groups have intensified the series of false, fabricated and baseless allegations based on this decision, due to which their own nefarious agenda has been exposed before the world.
Indian journalist Aditya Raj Kaul’s false propaganda and baseless claims
Indian journalist Aditya Raj Kaul posted the official notification of the banning of the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee on social media and spread venom against Pakistan and made extremely ridiculous and baseless claims.
The Indian media and social media circles are trying to give a false impression that force is being used by banning the entry of tourists into Azad Kashmir and shutting down the internet in other areas including the Neelum Valley, which is completely contrary to the facts and a complete lie.
The Indian media, as always, has resorted to false reporting and accusations, maintaining its traditional approach, but this irresponsible behavior of theirs has now come out in front of the whole world.
This whole situation has raised a big question mark that although the ban has been imposed on the Joint Public Action Committee of Azad Kashmir, why are the pet accounts of the Indian intelligence agency “RAW” and Indian journalists so agitated in their support?
During the ongoing discussion on social media, Pakistani users have raised this concrete question that why are the most voices in favor of the organization against which action was taken at the state level coming from Indian analysts and accounts with anti-Pakistan narratives?
This makes it clear that the state government’s position has been proven absolutely correct that these elements are involved in anti-state activities and are knowingly or unknowingly fulfilling the Indian agenda.
AJK Police arrest 72 people associated with banned JAAC
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Police have arrested around 72 individuals associated with the proscribed Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) during the last 48 hours to maintain law and order and safeguard the lives and property of citizens.
According to the press release issued by the Police spokesperson today, law enforcement agencies recovered weapons, communication devices, suspicious documents, and materials allegedly linked to plans for disrupting public order from some of those detained during the initial operation.
The spokesperson further claimed that the security officials have also found evidence relating to organized protest activities, plans for violent agitation, and indications of contacts with foreign individuals, adding that the investigation is ongoing in accordance with the law.
The development came hours after the President of Azad Kashmir declared the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) a proscribed organisation and placed it under the First Schedule of the region’s anti-terrorism act.
As per the statement, police claimed that the initial evidence suggested that certain elements were planning to disrupt public order, affect the electoral process, damage public and private property, incite hostility against state institutions, and paralyze normal life through unconstitutional and violent agitation under the guise of public issues.
The AJK Police, in coordination with relevant agencies, are currently reviewing all available information, digital records, recovered materials, and contacts as part of an ongoing inquiry, the spokesperson said.
