ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The arrested member of Fitna Al-Khawarij, Khawarji Umar Din alias Jazba, has made shocking revelations in his confessional statement.
Security forces have released details of his confession, in which he revealed information regarding TTP’s recruitment, training, funding, and operational activities.
According to the security sources, the suspect claimed that he joined the organization on January 12, 2025. He alleged that members received weapons and combat training in areas of Afghanistan and Waziristan.
The suspect further claimed that dozens of Khawarji were present at a militant center where he was based.
He also alleged that the Fitna Al Khawarij was involved in attacks on the Shadi Khel base and the IED explosion on the Kotakhwa Road, as a result of which 7 policemen were martyred during Ramadan.
According to Umar Din’s confessional statement, members of the Khawarji organization are addicted to drugs and moral turpitude. Immoral activities are common within the center, while several Khawarji commanders have also kept young boys with them for their misdeeds, he said.
Khawarji Umar Din further confessed that Fitna al-Khawarji receives financial support from Khawarji commanders in Afghanistan.
The group is also involved in criminal activities such as extortion in the name of taxes, vehicle hijacking, and kidnapping children for ransom.
According to the confessional statement of the arrested Khawarji, Kharji commanders lure the youth in the name of implementing Sharia and jihad, although in reality they are recruited into the organization by luring them with weapons, money, and luxury.
The arrested Khawarji confessed that he was misled by propaganda videos and later found out that this path is nothing but destruction and ruin.
The confessional statement of Umar Din makes it clear that Fitna al-Khawarij misleads the youth by using the name of religion, while its real objectives are to spread unrest and to further its nefarious intentions through extortion, kidnapping, drugs, and other criminal activities.
