ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan’s legendary cricket fan Chaudhary Abdul Jalil, famously known as “Chacha Cricket,” has announced that the upcoming Pakistan vs Australia ODI series will be his last outing as a superfan in the stadium.
He has passionately supported the Pakistan cricket team for more than three decades across the world.
In a post on X, the Chacha Cricket said the last ODI of the series on June 4 at Gaddafi Stadium could be his final appearance in a stadium.
The 77-year-old fan shared an emotional message requesting the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to make the occasion memorable.
“Insha’Allah, I will be witnessing the Pakistan vs Australia ODI series, which might be my last in Pakistan. I want to make it memorable and request PCB to make some special arrangements,” Chacha Cricket wrote on X.
In another post, he confirmed that the June 4 ODI at Gaddafi Stadium would likely be the last match he watches live from the venue.
4th June Pak Vs Aus I’ll be witnessing my last ODI in Qaddafi. I request Chairman Mr Mohsin Naqvi and PCB management to make it a memorable day and end on high note. Sent email to Manager Operations and Events. Waiting for the positive response from PCB. Pakistan Zindabad pic.twitter.com/Nn3L1rCIA6
