HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): Two people died, and another was seriously injured in a tragic traffic accident near the Sain Bagh town in Hattian Bala district on Monday evening.
As per the initial details, a vehicle reportedly met with an accident due to unknown reasons and plunged into a deep gorge.
The accident was severe, resulting in the deaths of two on the spot, including the driver.
The deceased were identified as Taimur Nazir and Owais Rahim, both residents of Chakothi.
Meanwhile, Waheed Mughal sustained serious injuries in the accident and was shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Hattian Bala for medical treatment.
Hospital sources said his condition remains critical.
Following the incident, police from City Police Station Hattian Bala reached the scene and initiated necessary action.
Authorities said an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
