LAHORE (Kashmir English): Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat on Monday announced a three-month-long summer vacation for schools across the province.
In a post on Facebook, the eduation minister said that the vacations would continue from May 22 to August 23.
“School Holidays in Punjab Will Start On Friday, the 22nd of May. Schools Will Resume on Monday, the 24th of August, Inshallah,” he wrote in a post.
Later today, the Punjab cabinet, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, approved summer vacation in schools from May 22 to August 24, the official statement said.
