Federal govt, JAAC talks begin in Muzaffarabad

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Negotiations between the federal government’s negotiation committee and the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) have begun in Muzaffarabad today, according to sources.

The federal government delegation is being led by the Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Engineer Amir Muqam. Meanwhile, the Government of AJK is being represented by state ministers Qasim Majeed and Deewan Khan Chughtai.

The JAAC delegation consists of Shaukat Nawaz Mir, Sardar Umar Nazir Kashmiri, and Chaudhry Imtiaz Aslam.

The negotiations are being held to discuss issues raised by the Awami Action Committee and to explore possible solutions through dialogue.
