KARACHI (Kashmir English): PTCL has warned users about possible internet slowdowns and connectivity issues during evening hours from May 11 to May 18 due to repair work on an international submarine cable.
According to the company, maintenance and repair operations are being carried out under the International Cable Consortium to fix a fault in the undersea communication cable system.

In a statement shared on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, PTCL said the repair work began on May 11 and is expected to continue until May 18.
The company stated that internet users may experience slower browsing speeds, buffering, and occasional service interruptions, particularly during peak evening hours.
PTCL advised customers that the disruptions are temporary and linked to ongoing international infrastructure repairs aimed at restoring optimal connectivity.
