PESHAWAR (Kashmir English): Security forces, in a timely operation, foiled an infiltration attempt from Afghanistan, killing two Khawarij on the spot.
According to security sources, upon receiving information about suspicious movement in the border area, forces immediately took action and adopted an effective strategy to stop the infiltrating militants.
An exchange of fire took place between security personnel and infiltrators, resulting in the death of two Khawarij.

Sources said that the deceased belonged to a banned organization and were trying to enter Pakistani territory from the Afghanistan side.
After the operation, a search operation was also conducted in the area to trace any other potentially present elements.
According to security officials, forces are always vigilant to protect Pakistan’s borders and are fully prepared to thwart any attempt at infiltration or terrorism.
Officials reiterated their commitment that security agencies will continue to fulfill their responsibilities to maintain peace and order in the country.
According to local sources, security has been further tightened in the area after the incident, and forces are continuously patrolling to maintain peace and stability on both sides of the border.
