ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Senior Pakistani security officials have said that operations in Afghanistan will end when the Taliban regime provides verifiable assurance of compliance with Pakistan’s demand of quitting facilitation of Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan.
Talking to the media on Monday, the senior security officials said that the Afghan Taliban have to choose between Pakistan and terrorist groups operating from its soil.
It added that the duration of Pakistan operations depends on actions on the ground by the Afghan Taliban Regime.
They told the media that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is consistently sharing details on the progress of the ongoing Operation Ghazab lil Haq. “We are totally transparent about it.”
“Afghan Taliban regime is proxy master”
The officials further said that the Afghan Taliban Regime is a proxy master harbouring multiple terrorist groups to disturb regional peace.
“The Taliban regime is flourishing on a war economy in the garb of their perverted religious ideology. Their leaders’ only religion is money and nothing else,” officials said.
The security officials confirmed that “Pakistan is targeting sanctuaries of terrorists and their facilitators who are harbouring them.”
“These are legitimate self-defence targets of the war of terror imposed upon Pakistani citizens, mosques, and children.”
“Afghan Taliban Regime and their Indian masters are consistently resorting to concocted propaganda and false information through their official accounts,” they said.
The officials further claimed that Pakistan’s operations against terrorists in Afghanistan have received a positive response from oppressed Afghan communities and minorities.
“We have no issue with the Afghan people; our operations are focused on those perverted Kharjis and their supporters who perpetrate and support acts of terrorism inside Pakistan,” they said.
“Pakistan has nothing to do with Regime change in Afghanistan; it is the prerogative of the Afghan people. They are happy that someone has stood up to these cruel warlords.”
‘Pakistan is in no hurry to end Op Ghazab Lil Haq’
Pakistan is in no hurry to end Operation Ghazab lil Haq, the officials said, adding that it’s time for the terror supporters and abettors to bleed and suffer.
“We have destroyed more than 180 posts and captured more than 30, those that make tactical sense. All these are the posts from where terrorists were being facilitated as launch pads.”
