TAMPA, USA (Kashmir English): At least six U.S. servicemen have been killed in action against Iran, said a CENTCOM update on Monday.
“As of 4 pm ET, March 2, six U.S. service members have been killed in action. U.S. forces recently recovered the remains of two previously unaccounted for service members from a facility that was struck during Iran’s initial attacks in the region,” said the CENTCOM Update.
It further said that major combat operation continues. “Major combat operations continue. The identities of the fallen are being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin notification.”
On the other hand, the US Central Command has claimed to have destroyed all Iranian ships present in the Gulf of Oman.
According to CENTCOM, two days ago, the number of Iranian navy ships in the Gulf of Oman was 11, but now this number has dropped to zero.
Iran army
Earlier, the Iranian army had claimed that 560 American soldiers had been killed in Iran’s retaliatory attacks, while Russian media had also stated that 560 American soldiers had been killed.
The Revolutionary Guard had also attacked the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln in the Middle East with ballistic missiles and targeted the US fleet with 4 missiles, but the US denied this.
