KANDY (Kashmir English): Sri Lanka has won the toss and decided to field against Pakistan in the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
In the match being played between (Pak vs Sl)in Kandy, the Sri Lankan captain won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat. Pakistan has made three changes to the team, dropping Babar Azam, Saim Ayub and Salman Mirza.
Khuwaja Nafay, Naseem Shah and Abrar Ahmed has been included in the team.
Pakistan will have to defeat Sri Lanka by a large margin to qualify for the semi-finals. Otherwise, New Zealand will reach the semi-finals with 3 points.
According to estimates, Pakistan will have to beat Sri Lanka by 65 runs tomorrow to reach the semi-finals. England has already qualified for the semi-finals from this group and Sri Lanka is out of the race.
