MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government (AJK) has announced a public auction of various items including tempered cars, motorcycles, and those seized by the police.
According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department, the public auction will be held from February 17 to February 26, 2025, during office hours.
The auction will be held under the auspices of the Central Transport Pool of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir Services and General Administration Department,
The auction will be opened for eligible persons who can view the vehicles at the respective locations.
The auction will feature around 17 vehicles including Jeep, Toyota Land Cruiser, Nissan Ambulance Model, Suzuki Bolan (Carry Daba), Suzuki Pickup, Corolla, and more, used by various AJK government departments.
The vehicles have been parked in the plot behind the Prime Minister’s Secretariat Muzaffarbad near Model Police Station Civil Secretariat Chattar Domail, the notification read.
According to the document, a sealed-bid auction will be held on February 27, 2025, under the supervision of Central Transport Pool officials. The bids will be received at 11:30 am and will be opened on the same day at 11:45 am.
This is a golden opportunity for citizens and businesses to buy vehicles and spare parts at low prices as various potential buyers are expected to participate in the auction.
