Pak Army martyred officer laid to rest with full military honours in AJK

SUDHANOTI, AJK (Kashmir English): Subedar Sardar Ghulam Rasool of the Pakistan Army, who belonged to Sudhanoti Baloch, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and was martyred fighting against Fitna Al-Khawarij on the Pak-Afghan border, was laid to rest with military honours in his ancestral village of Dhaman Pakhoonaar.

The funeral prayer of the martyr was offered in his ancestral area of Dhaman Pakhoonaar, attended by high-ranking officers of the Pakistan Army, former minister of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir government Sardar Farooq Ahmed Tahir, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Jammu and Kashmir Baloch constituency leader Major (R) Mushtaq Sadozai, and political, social, and journalistic figures.

Before the funeral prayer, a condolence reference was held where tribute was paid to martyred Subedar Ghulam Rasool.

Sacrifices of Pakistan Army

On this occasion, speakers said that the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army for the defence of the homeland cannot be forgotten.

“The sons of Sudhanoti, the land of martyrs and Ghazis, have watered this soil with their blood, and this series of sacrifices will continue.”

After the funeral prayer, the martyr’s body was saluted by a smart contingent of the Pakistan Army.

Martyred Subedar Sardar Ghulam Rasool was laid to rest in the presence of hundreds of mourners.
