RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Security forces have killed nine khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province on December 5, the military’s media wing said.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces in Tank District on a reported presence of khwarij.

“During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location, and after an intense fire exchange, seven khwarij were sent to hell,” the statement added.

In addition to that, two more khawarij were effectively neutralised by security forces in another intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat District.

“Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed Indian sponsored khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the Security Forces, Law Enforcement agencies, and target killing of innocent civilians,” it added.

“Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored kharji found in the area as a relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm e Istehkam”.”

The statement pledged that security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
