AJK govt decides to fill posts in health sector

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has decided to make ad-hoc appointments to 246 posts of various categories in the Department of Public Health.

Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, and Minister of Public Health of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, Syed Bazil Ali Naqvi took the significant step to provide better and timely medical facilities to the public.

Posts to be filled

These appointments include 136 Medical Officers, 20 Specialists, 9 Dental Surgeons, 7 Pharmacists/Drug Inspectors, 4 Vaccination Supervisors, and 70 Staff Nurses.

The purpose of this initiative is to address the shortage of medical staff in government hospitals in Azad Kashmir and to provide quality treatment facilities to the public at their doorstep.

This timely decision by the government will not only significantly improve the healthcare system but also ensure the provision of timely and effective medical services to patients.
